The Ride Along the Blue Ridge is a beautiful tour through the Blue Ridge Mountains in Banner Elk, NC. Cyclists can strengthen their endurance by riding a 40, 60 or 80 mile tour. Offering something to both the beginner and the experienced rider, each cyclist will enjoy one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the United States. The Ride Along the Blue Ridge is in memory of Jim Hunter.
The 2008 Ride Along the Blue Ridge benefits the Arthritis Foundation by raising vital funds that enable the Arthritis Foundation to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The funds raised also provide educational resources to help adults, parents and children manage their arthritis through community-based services to make life with arthritis easier.
